Book a pooja

Families may book a pooja slot, a place at the homam, or the kumkum pooja. Each booking is for one family unless stated otherwise.
Online booking opens shortly. Until then, please book with the MC on +91 91009 27973 or [email protected]. A slot is confirmed only once payment has been received and recorded against your booking.
Daily Ganesh pooja
- Per family₹1,116
Eleven slots across the festival, at 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM from 15 to 20 September. There is no evening slot on 20 September, because the Visarjan procession begins at 3:00 PM.
Each slot is exclusive to one family. Once a slot is booked it cannot be booked again.
Ganapathi Homam
- Per family₹3,000
Wednesday 16 September, 6:30 to 8:30 AM.
This is one combined session. Twelve families sit together for it, so your booking is a place in that session rather than a slot of your own.
Kumkum Pooja
- Per person₹500
Friday 18 September from 10:30 AM.
One hundred places. This one is priced per person, not per family, so please book a place for each person attending.
Daily Gothranama
- Per family₹1,500
The poojari recites your family gothram at the poojas on all days of the festival.
One booking covers the whole festival. You do not need to book this for each day.
Prasadam seva
Residents prepare prasadam at home and bring it to the community venue, morning at 9:00 AM and evening at 5:00 PM on each day of the festival.
Signing up is free. There is no payment of any kind for this.
This is not the same as sponsoring the daily prasadam for the whole community, which is a contribution and is listed under contribute.
Not booked here
Sthapana Pooja on 14 September is performed by five pairs, allotted by the committee. It is not bookable through these pages. Please speak to a committee member.
Aartis are open to everyone and need no booking. Their timings are separate from the family pooja slots above — see the seven-day programme.
The children's drawing and clay activities on 12 and 13 September need no registration. Just come along.
What we ask for
To make a booking we need your name, your flat number, your phone number and, for gothranama, your gothram. Nothing else.
